CBM Search for New General Secretary www.cbmin.org

Canadian Baptist Ministries has begun the search for a new General Secretary to lead the organization in its strategic mission and through the challenges it will face in the coming years. This person will provide visionary leadership for the staff and ministries of CBM. The Board of Directors and staff of CBM require our prayers as they go through this process and search for the individual that God has chosen to lead us nationally and internationally.

To download the information packet, click here. The deadline is March 30, 2010, or until a suitable candidate is found.

Highfield Baptist Church hosted Christian Schwarz, president and founder of the Institute for Natural Church Development (NCD International) on November 16, 2009. This was his seventh stop on a nine city tour of North America and only one of three stops in Canada. It is interesting to note that the Moncton seminar boasted the largest attendance of any other location in North America. In total, there were 226 people in attendance from 130 churches of varying denominations. As a Convention, we were well represented with 173 participants from 98 CABC churches - approximately 76%.
