CBM Search for New General Secretary
www.cbmin.orgCanadian Baptist Ministries has begun
the search for a new General Secretary to lead the organization in its strategic
mission and through the challenges it will face in the coming years. This person
will provide visionary leadership for the staff and ministries of CBM. The Board
of Directors and staff of CBM require our prayers as they go through this
process and search for the individual that God has chosen to lead us nationally
and internationally.
To download the information packet,

found.
Report
from Mark Hunter about the Prayer Summit Feb. 22 -
"The Prayer Summit was awesome actually. Very well recieved and the people in
attendance were very blessed.
It is certainly a worthwhile event!"
The final draft of the General Operating Bylaw is now
available. A great deal of our conversations and energy over the past few
years have been around the issue of incorporation and the development of the
documents related to this.
Convention President, Dr. Robert Knowles, comments "As a Convention Council
and family of churches, we have been engaged in a process, a journey of
clarification of mission and ministry, and God has been with us as we have
worked through this process of incorporation."

Christian Schwarz, Dr. Malcolm
Beckett, Rev. Jerry Horsman and Dr. John Weiler.
